Kalidos – style kaleidoscope quiz and seasonal lookbook engine

Kalidos is an AI-powered style kaleidoscope quiz: instead of sorting into fixed archetypes, it builds an individually-combined aesthetic-identity from a distinct set of independent style facets – colour palette, silhouette, occasion, values, and more. An AI model writes the personalised narrative and generates a one-of-a-kind illustrated card, and the whole system is designed to evolve.
What it does
Visitors take a free quiz and get a personalised style narrative plus a shareable illustrated card. An optional paid unlock extends the profile to a full set of traits — a richer, framing-aware narrative plus a dynamically-composed mood board derived from the visitor’s own answers.
A recurring seasonal look book engine keeps the funnel alive – AI models generate new AI-styled looks for a cast of fictional personas, each linking back to the quiz. The platform is designed to support alternate interpretations using different AI models, render images in a variety of styles, and evolve over time – style at 25 isn’t necessarily the same several months later, let alone at 45.

Privacy-First Data Model
Unbundled consent, pseudonymous identity, versioned profile history, and an automated retention schedule – each layer of the funnel only asks for the data it actually needs.

Reflection
This started off as a fun experiment to validate an app concept, but the end result is more than a style quiz or lead funnel – it’s a reproducible domain-agnostic pipeline: a set of configurable trait axes that can feed AI interpretation and image generation, with a free/paid tier split, seasonal content engine, and built-in affiliate layer. Exactly the kind of re-usable platform that could plausibly power different types of personality or interest-driven scenarios.
