Kalidos-specific disclaimers
The following terms supplement our general Terms and Conditions and apply to the Kalidos Style Kaleidoscope quiz and lookbook engine provided by the Kalidos experiment.
AI-generated content
All Style Kaleidoscope profiles, narratives, and illustrations are generated using artificial intelligence based either on your quiz answers for your personal results, or fake personas for the seasonal lookbook engine and other promotional content. Results are provided for entertainment and inspiration only, and do not constitute professional styling, fashion, medical, or purchasing advice.
Service availability
Kalidos relies on third-party AI providers (including Anthropic, Google, Mistral, and OpenAI) to generate results. We make reasonable efforts to ensure availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to any specific provider or model; results may occasionally be delayed or temporarily unavailable due to circumstances outside our control.
Cookies, payment linking, and unauthorized access
Unlocking your full profile requires your browser to accept a first-party cookie (kalidos_visitor_id) at the time of payment, which links your Stripe payment to your specific quiz result. If cookies are blocked or cleared before checkout completes — for example due to private/incognito browsing, cookie-blocking extensions, or browser privacy settings — your payment may not automatically link to a profile. If this happens, contact us at [email protected] with your payment confirmation and we will investigate and resolve it, which may include manually unlocking the correct profile or issuing a refund.
If someone shares their Style Kaleidoscope result with you directly, you’re welcome to view it — that’s what the save and share features are for. A shared result is read-only and remains the property of the person who generated it: you may not claim it as your own, or represent it as reflecting you. Attempting to unlock, regenerate, or otherwise modify a profile that isn’t yours — including by manipulating identifiers or other means — is not permitted.
Generated content is not exclusive to you
Generated content may not be unique to you — our AI providers may generate the same or similar content for other users. You may use your own generated Style Kaleidoscope for personal, non-commercial purposes.
For clarity: the Creative Commons – Noncommercial licence referenced in our Terms and Conditions applies to Triple 8 Labs’ own website content (such as articles and site copy), not to your individually-generated Style Kaleidoscope. You’re free to save and share your own generated result for personal, non-commercial purposes without any attribution requirement – though we’d love it if you tagged @kalidosapp or link back to the quiz when you do.
Right of withdrawal — digital content
By purchasing a full profile unlock, you request immediate delivery of digital content (your Style Kaleidoscope profile) and expressly agree that you thereby lose your statutory right of withdrawal, in accordance with Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code (implementing the EU Consumer Rights Directive).
